Overview

209 Angry Dev Team logo

209 Angry Dev Team (also known as 209 Team or 209 Angry Team) is a small Developer & Publisher group heavily related to the ARMA series. We reupload, fix, and maintain mods & addons for ARMA 1, ARMA 2, and ARMA 3. We're basically just trying to keep the ARMA 2 community alive.

We're a team of 3 members, though honestly only 1 of us is consistently active. We're all still pretty young, but don't worry — we're over 14. We've got studies too, so don't expect us online all the time, but at least we're doing something good.

Before we were "209 Angry Dev Team," this was privately known as LA CLASSE — though basically nobody knew that, since Lieutenant Cupocha (the only one around back then) wasn't open about the reuploading and archiving work being done under that name. You can still find traces of that original branding in the ArmA 2 LA CLASSE MODS server, never changed.

The Team

Lieutenant Cupocha (aka Cupocha)
Main developer and the one responsible for basically all the work. He's the only one still genuinely active, archiving and reuploading — the others helped out here and there, which is still appreciated.
Dreamy (aka Plague)
Built the Beta 2 724 Launcher and helps out a lot — gave Cupocha his accounts, fixed bugs, helped with far more. MVP of the group.
ozyorfai (aka Ozy)
Built the Beta 1 724 Launcher, helped out with 724 Launcher development.

RareHatch was a homie of the team — there were original plans to team up properly — but is no longer part of the group.

Projects

AGUP — Air & Ground Units Pack for ARMA 2

Does what it says — adds a ton of content to ARMA 2, over 90 units, mostly air assets. Grab it from the official site or ModDB. 100% solo project by Lieutenant Cupocha.

Sparrow AI Modpack for ARMA 2

An AI overhaul that completely changes how AI acts in-game, bundling a bunch of addons into one package. Another solo Cupocha joint. Shoutout to Krzysztof (THOR) — his ask for a decent AI modpack is literally why this exists.

NUP — Naval Units Pack for ARMA 2

Basically AGUP's naval cousin — about 14 naval units. Shoutout to 7.62×39mm who first asked for naval units in AGUP; since the AGUP name was already locked in, slapping an "N" on it didn't make sense, so this got its own pack instead.

SQF File Checker for ARMA 2

Does exactly what the name says — checks SQF files, laser-focused on ARMA 2 syntax. Not the prettiest tool ever made, but it works.

Discord

We now have an official unified Discord server, though we still keep using the two older servers below.

Licensing

There is no single universal license covering every 209 Angry Dev Team project — always check the license on the specific project you're looking at, since some projects don't even have one listed. Regardless, unless a project explicitly says otherwise, you may not reverse engineer the program, leak its source code, or claim ownership or authorship over the program, mod, or any part of it.
